GoGos PATTAYA All Girls Seems to have changed format recently. The tricks show has been replaced by the standard topless gogo and shows. The quality of the girls has risen a little but they were a frosty bunch indeed, not raising a smile between them. Expensive beer considering the second rate hospitality but there is a happy hour of 8-9 when beer is 65 Baht. Whisky is 95 Baht throughout There are convenient short time rooms. Beach Club The staring up at the knickerless beauties is a little hard on both the neck and on decorum. 20 Baht is the going rate for a particularly close inspection of the wares. May 2005: Beach Club was doing a very good trade although rumour has it that the management has an interesting problem there. Some of the girls are earning around 2,000 baht in tips a night just dancing at the tables and thus they are in no hurry to get barfined. And not getting barfined means that the bar misses out on barfine revenue, which is a significant part of their revenue. Big Willie's 8pm-2am Many girls, many of them pretty and some, topless. Dance on a slowly revolving central stage. Have nude shows every so often. Seems quite friendly but gets a little cramped. I liked their shows the best this time around. But beyond the shows, they too had, in my humble opinion, more than their fair share of stunners. Outstanding, just outstanding. Definitely worth a visit. 60 Baht draught beer and 90 Baht lady drinks Champion A-GoGo ~7pm-2am Central stage with many attractive girls. Many dance nude. A very interesting twist is a secondary stage towards the back of the bar. When the girls leave the centre stage they move on to the smaller backstage and dance fully nude. Quite sexy for the shy looking girls who elect to dance on the main stage clothed but still strip off for the subsequent 2 or 3 numbers. On a visit after the recent police closure, the girls were fully clad and the whole affair was totally boring. Another pleasant feature for early birds is that there appears to be no dressing room for the girls. Instead they change near the door in the full view of the bar. Happy hour draught beer at 35 Baht (50 Baht whisky) thereafter at 45 Baht (95 Baht whisky) At first I thought that the girls weren't approaching the guys but a couple of friendly smiles secured me the company of the prettiest girls in the bar. In fact the girls have turned out to be a very friendly bunch. There are convenient short time rooms. Jan 05: I have always been partial to Champions and I found they had a nice group of ladies working there. Perhaps not up to the level of some of the tier one clubs, but darn good. I always check out Champions. Champion A-GoGo 2 20 girls in attendance in the early evening. They wore white skirts and tops but were knickerless. The girls were dancing on a circuit that includes a side stage and 3 customer tables. These are then a little reminiscent of the table dancing at the Beach Club & Shark Club. Happy hour drinks Opened April 2005: The decor was nice and quiet modern which was good to see unfortunately so was the music mainly trance. The 50 ladies he had signed up had not surprisingly dwindled to 6 with another one turning up at about 10pm. The supposedly high class ladies turned out to be some form the ex Electric Blue and Hooties with a quiet old lady from Diamond, a couple of them were moderately attractive. There was no pressure for lady drinks since the girls didn't have time to sit down as they had to be constantly dancing. Classroom Cheap afternoon drinks. Later it becomes expensive at 100 Baht for bottled beer and 130 Baht for a lady drink The girls are quite friendly and are happy to approach the guys. Classroom 2000 Draught beer (small glass) is 69 baht and although the place runs about 40 or more dancers, most appeared to be hardened, but generally friendly, veterans of the art of the chrome pole. Quite lively but no-one seemed to find time for a chat. Crystal Smallish bar with about 20 average girls in the very early evening. Bikini dancing only at that time. The girls tend to descend on the guys en masse There are convenient short time rooms. Diamond A Go-Go Holds a periodic dance competition which proves very popular. May 2005 Endorsed by Stickman: The best gogo bar in Thailand at the moment, has the most attractive selection of girls, especially the show girls, and is quite frankly, the most fun bar I have been into in a VERY long time. 45 Baht beers and 80 Baht lady drinks The Doll's House On an early evening visit the girls were bored looking and fully clad. A later visit was much sexier with the girls gradually stripping and some show girls going fully nude. The girls were not approaching the guys so it seems up to the guys to make the first move. When the nude showgirls are on, the gogo girls slink off to a changing room leaving leaving only a couple to sell lady drinks. A fine club with many beautiful ladies. The owner is a nice guy who is fun to talk to. The club is always fun and I am even getting used to the money balls (which are everywhere now, by the way) which are frequently tossed around the club. Always is on my short list of clubs to visit. Happy hour beers (7:30-9:00pm) are 30 baht Dynamite Lady Draught beer at an uncompetitive 90 Baht Electric Blue 7.30pm-2a Now converted to a disco Many girls have migrated to the adjoining Hootys Fantasia Showbar No entry charge but one is expected to buy drinks. The girls don't mingle with the audience nor are there any hostesses. A good place for those who prefer to avoid the prostitution aspect of Pattaya's nightlife. Far East Rock The girls seemed friendly and were happy to stop off for a chat and an occasional playful intimate massage. There are convenient short time rooms. Follies Pigalle Now renamed/reopened as The Sea Giligans 5pm-2am About 20 bikini clad girl dance in the hope that a customer or two may one day enter for a beer. Apparently there is no salary bonus to encourage any topless dancing. The girls were friendly enough and it seems a pleasant bar. However it suffers from letting the oldies in the bar have first dibs. This is a stupid policy as it leaves customers with little choice but to head to the exit. Happy hour runs to 9pm with beer at 45 Baht Apparently under the same management as the below average Follies Pigalle in Walking Street. Happy A-GoGo 8pm-2am A very busy bar with many (very) young and attractive girls on a central stage. It seems to be the girls choice whether to take off her top or not but most do. There are 12 dancers on stage and on a recent visit they were cycling at one girl per song (which are generally quite long). So if your lady of choice goes to dance whem 'may be gone some time' There is also a nude show which is a 3 song GoGo, clothed, topless & nude. There is a also a mini-skirted knickerless dancer in one corner. Cheap happy hour drinks at 40 Baht from 8-9pm. Thereafter bottled beers are 95 Bahts (Lady drinks are 90 Baht) Many guys looking pretty forlorn without company but it didn't seem too difficult to attract the attention of a cutie or two. The bar policy seem sto be that the girls don't approach unless invited. Just ask any of the staff if a girl catches your eye. Heavens Above A-GoGo Modern looking central stage GoGo above Superbaby. A large proportion of the seating is made up of large comfortable coaches. The music is good and not too loud. Several pretty girls were dancing and they were friendly enough to pop over for a chat. The showgirls happily mingle amongst the customers Highway Star Happy hour 8-10:30, draught beer at 45Baht Honey A-GoGo The girls were asking for drinks but were hassling in pairs Hooty's Bought out in March 2005 by the owners of Living Dolls About 20 girls on a central stage of which a few are topless. Several of them are very attractive There is a lesbian dildo show once an hour that seemed pretty enthusiastic. 35 Baht happy hour from 8-9pm, 115 Baht bottled beers thereafter The girls were approaching the guys but there seemed far to few of them to stay for more than a quick drink before it is time to dance again. Jan 05: Crowded and smokey. There are some very nice ladies in Hooties. It should, in my opinion, be included on any prowl. But getting the (non-hello) girls out of the club is difficult and expensive. Hot & Cold Quiet in the afternoon with about 20 girls in attendance some above average. Many are topless. The topless girls stay topless when mingling with the customers. They seem well happy to engage one in a touchy feely chat. The music is generally from the 70s-90s. Bottled beer at 60 Baht, whisky at 60 Baht and lady drinks at 80 Baht. Apparently Thai owned and working conditions can be a bit tough for the girls. But the Mama-san seems to be good at ensuring the customers are entertained by the girl of their choice. There are convenient short time rooms. Hot & Cold ~8pm-2am From the Nui stable Small narrow bar with about 12 girls on duty. Very small stages scattered throughout so at least things can get a good close up view. Mainly topless dancing with a nude show later on. Has now expanded after taking over traditional massage parlour. Sems a little more popular on a second visit. Girls were being a little picky. Jacuzzi A-GoGo March 2005: It is a showbar which has an actual Jaccuzzi installed in the middle of the small stage. For acts not using the jaccuzzi it is easily
covered up with a plywood platform. All in all, if you like showbars at all, I think you would like this place, at least for a few visits. The place is clean, music is good,
not too loud, air conditioning is good, did not notice cigarette smoke, the stage lighting is good, the showgirls very good looking. I was not very impressed with the interlude gogo dancers though. It has been rumoured that the showgirls maybe up for barfining after the venue has closed. They were certainly circulating with the customers towards the end of the evening. The Kitten Club ~5pm-2am Stages are nicely dispersed around the bar. There are quite a few girls and many of them are young and pretty. They dance in bikinis or topless but there is the occasional 'Kitten Parade' when the girls dance nude. One downside is that the girls dance for a while in masks which tends to conceal their appeal. The girls seemed friendly and were happy to approach the customers. The manager does the rounds to ensure that all is up to scratch Cheap early evening drinks and freebie tequilas. Later on turned expensive at 105 Baht for a coke Maybe even more expensive now with a soda water reported to be 114 Baht There is a whole hotel of short time rooms on the premises. The Penthouse hotel also has a TV channel in each room giving the guests views of the dancers on stage. Kittens Certainly good for a change. The girls seem to have a little time for a chat but there is no chance of any barfining going on. The cast is required throughout the evening. It has been rumoured that short time is available after hours for 1500-2000 Baht. Lipstick 8pm-2am Central stage with plenty of above average girls, most of them topless. There are also shows every so often but these are little more than the usual gogo but at least the girls go nude. The topless girls sometimes stay topless when mingling with the customers which is quite sexy. The mama-san ensures that all customers have the opportunity to at least select a drinking companion. The place is also packing out most nights with a series of somewhat lengthy cameos performed by some of Pattaya's better looking chrome pole molesters. One show involves the profligate use of soap suds. Beware of the toilet towel tips There is a June trial offer of a 1-2am bar fine of 300 Baht instead of the usual 500 Baht. This is to discourage customers from waiting until closing time to avoid the barfine. There is also a raffle for a big bike. Each drinks purchase gives one a ticket for the August draw. Living Dolls Showcase 8pm-2am April 05: Central stage with plenty of girls. Some were very attractive. All of the gogo girls were bikini clad and were definitely just filling in time for the showgirls. The gogo girls weren't mingling for drinks and so seemed a bit of a waste of space. I slink into 'Living Dolls showcase' and am greeted by a full on lesbian show, no half assed air kisses here, the pretty girl had her tongue about a mile up the other girls unmentionables. Then comes the fluorescent paint show - and the artist does a yummy job - sometimes you just have birds, snakes, and the like painted up and down the girls bodies (they glow under the backlights) but this guy is more clever - simple, big, strokes and one girl is covered in watermelon slices, another a yellow tipped crow reaching for the.. worm, and still another with absolutely beautiful flower pods. Halfway through the first song he climbs up on stage and paints the front of the crow girl with 'good luck, good fuck' which would have been funny if she didn't look so much like both. Props, performers and choreography are all first class. The very young looking service girls are keen to get customers to buy them a drink. One girl claimed to be 17 on first trip and then 19 on the second. A high profile venue so I assume that they are at least 20 years olds to comply with the rules on working in a bar. Expensive drinks though, 110 for whisky, 120 Baht for Heineken draught and 125 for lady drinks Lolipop Lady drinks 99baht Misty's Afternoon-2am March 05: My fave ago-go. The Girls are very friendly and most of them are into threesomes with other Girls, Thai or farang. This was my local last year and I got to know about a dozen of the girls and they did not disappoint! Central stage with plenty of girls some of them attractive. Posssibly due to recent police activity they are now fully clad most of them sporting a webbed half dress, half bikini affair. Later fully overdressed in bikinis The air conditioning is ferocious. Cheap afternoon drinks. At night Singha beer is 105B and water is 95Baht The girls were a little frosty and were not approaching the guys so it seems up to the guys to make the first move. Model Club Ensures that it caters for coach parties only by setting an entry charge of 1600 Baht. Certainly puts off the passing trade. Naughty Girls ~8pm-2am Renamed from Vixens Not much life to the place but the girls were friendly enough Nevada Club Afternoon-2am About 20 girls in the afternoon, some of them pretty. Most were dancing nude except the one nearest the door who may be momentarily viewed from the street. There were 8 dancers on stage cycling at 2 girls per song. So your drinking partner won't be away for so long when 'she go dance' The girls seem happy to come over for a chat and/or fondle. Reasonable beer prices There are convenient short time rooms. New Star On the plus side, the bench seating is comfortable and there's a huge screen TV against the back wall, a legacy of the days when the place was part of the adjoining beer boozer. On the downside, although beer is 55 baht and lady drinks (in a proper glass) are 85 baht. Most of the serving girls have all the personality of prison warders and the 15-20 dancers are either long term veterans or carrying a little extra around the girth, although reasonably friendly. March 05: Visited at around midnight and they were down to 3 girls. Of course this did not stop the touts outside from promising the liveliest show in town Nice n Easy I was going to give it another try but an unattractive oldie decided to emerge just as I was approaching and it proved rather off putting. 1969 Review required Nui A-GoGo ~8pm-2am Small gogo bar with an awful lot of girls, several of which were very attractive. There is only room for about 4 to dance at once on two small stages. Dancing is either in bikinis or topless according to the girls' preference The gogo is occasionally punctuated by a better than average stage show featuring some real girl/girl sex. Some very interactive girls circulate amongst the customers The majority of the girls spend their time being very friendly with the customers and are happy to play Pattaya's traditional bar games. Equally traditional playful massage games are also on offer Convenient short time rooms. Nui A-GoGo 2 ~6pm-2am Smallish gogo with topless dancers on a side stage. Some of the girls were very attractive. An excellent idea is that the girls were only dancing on stage for 2 numbers. Plenty of time to chat to the customers. Jan 05: It is small, the girls were again lifeless, and I just didn't care for the place. This place needs to do something. Paris A-GoGo ~8pm-2am May 05: Has an abundance of dancers although most of them are of the hard-core, veteran variety. As an example, on a recent visit two of the dancers hardly bothered with such mundane preliminaries as 'What you name? Where you come from? How long you stay?' Instead, they went straight for the jugular: 'Buy me dlink'. These are the sort of girls who can chew up a newbie and spit him out for breakfast. Popular bar employing about 50 girls. Several are pretty. Most dance topless. They also usually dance knickerless under mini skirts but it is up to the girls whether they arrange themselves in a revealing manner Happy hour offer of a bottle of Singha at 70 baht. Peppermint Lounge The main stage features about a dozen girls of which a couple go topless. A smaller central stage has about 4 nude dancers at a time most of which of very attractive. The girls behind the bar also go topless. There is a glass fronted showcase with a few suggestive locker room exercises going on. Later on, mini-skirted but knickerless girls dance on tables throughout the bar. Every hour or so there is a nude show on the main stage. A dozen girls dance over 3 tracks, bikini clad, topless and then nude. Draught beer 45 Baht all night. Happy hour on spirits up until 9pm when they are also 45 Baht. The girls were not approaching the guys so it seems up to the guys to make the first move. This is pretty easy given that there are dancing girls located nearly everywhere. Beware of the toilet towel tips Jan05: This club always has a fair share of beautiful women. My only knock against this club is that it always seems to be crowded. I have a hard time getting a seat and a hard time getting the attention of the ladies. The first problem I can deal with, the second I cannot. Perhaps if you tried visiting the club early this would not be a problem. Perhaps. Planet Rock/Jupiter ~6pm-2am Quite a few girls all bikini clad during the early evening. Mostly average but a few pretty faces. There were few customers at an early hour visit. Still, the music is good, the layout is spacious Cheap early evening drinks at 69 Baht until 11pm The girls were not generally approaching the guys but this is not an absolute policy. There are convenient short time rooms. They've also got a bog boy lurking in the bathroom armed with a wet towel and a surly look. Polo A-GoGo A very large venue specialising in shows. No girls at all were seen amongst the customers at a late night visit. Jan 05: Jam packed with bus loads of tour group members. (Who get herded around town like cattle and get shamelessly ripped off. The shows have not changed. If you have never been to Polo and like shows, check it out. But if you have seen the shows before, you will not see anything new. Ah, but the Hello Girls....That is another story. A good point to remember when visiting clubs that have Hello Girls is to not overlook them. If you find someone you think you might like, sit down with them and buy them a drink. You might be surprised. Private Dancer The touts have stopped touting so presumably closed. I am not sure whether this is temporary or not. Feb 2005: The Sea March 03: Some very pretty girls in attendance Frozen A-Gogo renamed The Sea, re-opened to the public in September 2003. The new handle may be somewhat esoteric, but nothing much else has changed. On the positive side there are plenty of lively dancing maidens hugging the chrome poles (upwards of 30), although when not called upon to stroke the chrome they tended to form little scrums in the dark crevices of the den. Jan 05: I had been warned that there was a slip in quality at this club. Honestly, I did not see it. The place was fun, the ladies were well endowed as was always the case, and I had a good time. Draught is 55 baht, lady drinks 110Baht There are convenient short time rooms. Sexy Soi 8 About half were dancing topless. The girls who go topless on stage also walk around the bar in similar attire Happy hour drinks at 45 baht, Bottled beer 70 Baht thereafter Convenient short time rooms are 700 Baht including bar fine. Jan 05: This was also a fine club. It was not, in my opinion, as good as it's competitor down the street, Silver Star, but it was good. The pricing was less than Walking Street and the same as Silver Star. With a 45 baht happy hour it is worth a look. You may be pleasantly surprised. Shark a GoGo April 05: Strictly bikini clad dancing and also a fully clothed show! All the girls the were on the stage so the opportunity for a chat and drink with the girls is impossible A drop in class from the some of the competing Soi Diamond gogos. A central stage is bedecked by bikini clad dancers. For sure a couple of local lasses will pop over to your table for a chat. Sad to report that the only thing changed about the bar is the name same tired line up no energy in the bar and even the customers looked depressed let alone the staff. 45baht for draught beer Shark Table Dance Club Seemed quite fun but there are too many flashing lights for my taste. Feb 2005: This is above SuperLady where the Diamond Beach Hotel St rooms were. A similar format to the Beach Club though the decor is nicer with a
red theme it is also smaller. The girls wear nice red berries but for some strange reason exactly the same skirt as every other table dance place. Show Girls 7pm-2am May 2005: There seems to have been an improvement in the girls. There are now about 15 girls and a couple of them were above average. Topless dancing. Beer at 55 Baht for the happy hour of 7-9pm then 70 Baht The girls seem happy to provide quite a touchy feely experience for the guys. Silver Star This is the Go Go with the great big neon guitar standing out front. Honestly, I did not expect much from this place. What a surprise. It was packed, just packed, with stunners. The place was fun, very fun and it was a little less expensive than the Walking Street Go-Go's. 1,000 ST and 500 Baht barfines still were in effect. No doubt, due to the competition from the beer bars on Soi 8. Oh, and I liked the music they played. This club is worth a look Beer is 65 Baht Convenient short time room which lacks in privacy and suffers from a communal shower Spicy Girls Too Beach Road: Soi Pattayaland 1 Re-named as 2 XS, see below Stringfellows 6pm-2am June 05: I decided to check it out to see if the worst GoGo tag was fair. And I disagree.There were 6 girls in attendance but 1 was on meal break. Most of the girls were more than presentable. There was a cute shy girl and a very bubbly girl doing a good job of mingling. The dancers were well over dressed though in hotpants and bikini top. However there are not enough girls to make the operation viable. 3 girls were dancing and 2 were mingling. This left only 2 songs of chatting before the inevitable "I go dance". And the overdressed stage show hardly makes for an entertaining time filler. The lack of girls also loses custom. A party of 4 or 5 free spending young men popped in but there were insufficient girls available to entertain them so they popped straight back out again. I can see that any further depletion of numbers due to bar fines would result in the comment below. Draught beer is 50 Baht at least for the early evening March 05: To start it off I would like to nominate Stringfellows as the worst GoGo in Pattaya I was in there a couple of months ago and though it is a small gogo they only had 3 ladies there! Each lady had probably been in Pattaya when the Americans were here during the Vietnam war. Though these ladies obviously had a lot of money or at least enough for a lot of food! On the way out I attempted to give one of the ladies a 20 baht tip and rather than her just accepting it insisted that I put in her underwear this was a struggle. Super Baby A-GoGo ~8pm-2am Many girls, mostly young and pretty, maybe a few snow queens, all topless except during panics when police approach. There was a show over about three numbers where the girls would be clothed, topless and finally nude. However it was the most perfunctory knickerless show that I have seen to date...Maybe they are shy. Why didn't I visit this club sooner? My goodness there were some fabulous women there. My first stop on my next visit will be here. Of course, by then things may have changed. Keep in mind that the clubs change frequently. Today's hot spot is tomorrows place to avoid. Still.....I wish I would have went to Super Baby sooner. No happy hour drinks. The snow queens don't seem too friendly. Beers at 90Baht Super Model A-GoGo May 2005: We let out a collective 'wow' upon taking our seats, the talent was exceptional. The top level room is now closed and used as a function room only. April 2005: Needs to sort out its closing policy, the ushers were still ushering people in as the rather quiet bar decided to close promptly at 1am. No drinking up time and no apology for the waste of a beer. March 2005: This is a split level bar with shows on the upstairs level. There seems to be a goodly amount of girls for the size of the bar. Draught beer for a reasonable 70 baht with a happy hour until 9.30 when they are 49 Baht. Lady drinks are 95 Baht Susie ~2pm-2am Very popular bar in the afternoons and sometimes too crowded. The bar supports 40 or so strictly bikini clad girls. Specialises in heavy music and seems good fun Plenty of interaction between the customers and girls Convenient short time rooms A very nice club, with several very nice women. Friendly-even if there was a reluctance to go LT early in the evening. Tahitian Queen 2: Evenings + Tuesday afternoon May 2005: The installation of an ice cold margarita machine has only exasperated the problems of grasping bar girls. "The evil crew of mekong slurping TQ2 dancers was soon begging us for frozen margarita shots as lady drinks. We did the only wise thing and fled the scene". About 15 average girls on the afternoon shift. Bikini clad on stage. Features rock music from the 60's, 70's & 80's As the girls finished their stage stint they would do around of chatting with the customers...A nice idea. Girls are friendly but descend on you mob handed. Unbelievable cheek from on a very pretty girl who on being turned down for an off site session suggested that the bar fine should be paid anyway so she can go home early to sleep. Tim's: There were about 20 average bikini clad dancers during an early evening visit. There were also a fair few hostesses milling around. Most of the girls were keeping themselves to themselves Convenient short time rooms. Top Girls ~6pm-2am March 2005: Recently opened. Apparently has shows later on in the evening which present a series of unattractive damsels showing off the skills of their equally unattractive genitalia into which they insert virtually anything that fits. In a series of vignettes, the girls demonstrate the art opening Coke bottles, lobbing bananas at punters, and playing host to myriad objects ranging from live turtles to live mice. The bar seemed to be struggling to find sufficient girls to keep the momentum going. No one to talk to. They will have to organise better to survive Beer at 110 Baht. Lady drinks are 95 Baht but the girls are pressurise to get a rapid response on a request for such a drink. 2 XS Beach Road: Soi Pattayaland 1 ~6pm-2am Renamed from Spicy Girls Too Small bar with only about 10 average girls. Fully bikinied on last visit around about 7pm. Topless at subsequent visit The girls seem happy to provide quite a touchy feely experience for the guys. Happy hour 6-8 with draught beer at 60Baht Vixens 3pm-12pm Renamed from Champion 2 June 2005: The girls are now dancing knickerless in short skirts. The shy girls still wearing bikini tops do not seem so shy about revealing more down below. Definitely a step up in sexiness. The choice of music leaves a little to be desired in terms of brevity. The girls were dancing for 5 songs but when this includes a 10 minute introspective Led Zepplin song the waiting tends to drag. Happy hour beers are 55 Baht and lady drinks are 100 Baht May 2005: The only GoGo bar in Jomtien had about 15 average girls during an afternoon visit. All were bikini clad although some were topless on previous visits The bar has been extended. The new front section boasts easy chairs and the stage has been lengthened. The girls were happy to chat with the guys and maybe get to use their upstairs rooms with a 800 Baht price for the combined room charge and bar fine. Whats Up -2am Had a rather giggly unsettling atmosphere desperately in need of a few more customers. On a later visit the girls were dancing in various stages of undress including nude Jan 05: I did not find the girls to be especially attractive and they were pushy for drinks. Maybe I was catching them at a bad time, but I left the place quickly.
